We’ve all dealt with disasters. Whether it's an important day going terribly wrong, or a pandemic like COVID-19, we face various disasters throughout our lives, sometimes at no fault of our own. For example, as a nation we recently endured the catastrophe of Hurricane Melissa. Much work has been d...

In 45 days, history will be made in Kingston, Jamaica 🇯🇲.

Saying yes to this assignment stretched and challenged me in ways I never expected, but every sacrifice has been worth it because it reveals God’s glory.

This is not your average event. We are sitting at the intersection of mental health, faith, and Caribbean culture.

To the team: thank you for your diligence, sacrifice, and hard work behind the scenes. We will continue to build this vision brick by brick.

One Love,
Dr. B 💫

Anything for the culture! 💪🏾🇯🇲

POV: Caribbean women finally getting the space to heal instead of just survive 💫

At the Soulful Serenity Retreat in Point Hill hosted by we talked about the things our culture doesn’t always make room for:

1. Trauma responses: fight, flight, freeze & fawn

2. People pleasing and overextending ourselves

3. Learning that rest, boundaries, and softness are not weakness

So many women realized they weren’t “too emotional” or “difficult”… they were surviving.

Healing Caribbean women means unlearning survival mode while still honoring our strength.
