A GRAN DEAL indeed! ❤️👵🏾👴🏾

We had such a wonderful time at the National Council for Senior Citizens’ Ageing Fair, where seniors from across Jamaica came out for a day dedicated to their health, wellness and overall well-being.

Our team was happy to play our part, providing treatments, sharing a little TLC and reminding our seniors just how important movement and physical wellness are at every stage of life.

They definitely kept us busy! 😄 The treatments, conversations, laughter and smiles made the day even more special, and we loved getting the opportunity to care for so many of our seniors.

Healthy, active and productive ageing takes all of us, and we’re proud to do our part by helping our seniors move, feel and live well. ❤️

Today, we celebrate the physiotherapists who help people move with greater confidence, regain function and live healthier, more active lives.

This World Physical Therapy Day, the global focus is on cardiovascular disease and stroke highlighting the important role physiotherapy and physical activity can play in prevention, management and rehabilitation.

Physiotherapists can support heart health through safe, personalised exercise and increased physical activity, while also playing an important role in stroke rehabilitation helping people improve mobility, balance, physical function and independence.

At The Therapeutic Souls, we are proud to be part of a profession that supports recovery, encourages movement and helps people continue doing the things that matter to them.

This Senior Citizens’ Month, we join Ministry of Labour & Social Security and National Council for Senior Citizens Jamaica in celebrating our seniors under the theme “Honouring a Golden Legacy, Shaping a Bold Future.” 👵🏽👴🏽

Our seniors have spent years building families, communities and legacies, and there is still so much living, moving and thriving ahead!

Healthy ageing is supported by staying active, maintaining strength, balance and mobility — all of which can help our seniors remain independent and continue doing the things they enjoy.

So this September, check in on the seniors in your life, encourage them to keep moving and remind them just how valued they are. 😊
