Most of today's pain conditions are the result of poor posture, lack of exercise or incorrect movement. Why?
How our muscles and fasciae are doing is closely related to how we move. The still young science of fascia research has already proven this connection. In everyday life, we move so little or so one-sidedly that our muscular-fascial tissue is also only stretched one-sidedly. Then it tends to overstretch, becomes tough as chewing gum and pulls much too hard on your joints.
The pull from one side has to be compensated for on the other side. Over time, this is exactly what creates even greater tension in the tissue. As a result, the pressure on joints and cartilage continues to increase. The pain is ultimately only one thing: a warning of the increasing tension and impending injury.
