Behavioral optometry focuses on how we use our vision. It works on the coordination of visual skills to improve how the brain processes information, proving useful in learning difficulties and visual rehabilitation.

More than half of our brain is working every second to process what we see.

Vision is not just about “seeing clearly.”

It’s about understanding, interpreting, coordinating, and giving meaning to the information that enters through the eyes.

That’s why we say sight happens in the eyes, but vision lives in the brain.

When a child is easily distracted while reading, frequently bumps into things, or seems to struggle with “poor attention,” the issue is often not effort, it's how their brain processes visual information.

Vision plays a crucial role in attention, learning, memory, balance, and even in how we move and orient ourselves in space.

Vision Therapy is, in essence, training the brain. It means teaching it to interpret the world more efficiently, to connect what it sees with what it thinks, and to transform that information into understanding, movement, and action.

At Vision Care – Vision Therapy Center, we have spent more than 15 years helping individuals of all ages rediscover how they see, understand, and interact with their environment.
