This session focused on “Precision Medicine in Lung Cancer,”and was moderated by Dr. Mitsumi Terada (National Cancer Center, Japan).
We were delighted to have Dr. Hidehito Horinouchi (National Cancer Center, Japan) and Dr. Voon Pei Jye (Sarawak General Hospital, Malaysia) join us as speakers and are grateful for the expertise and insights they shared throughout the session!

On July 24, our clinical research support staff from APO, Wongatorn (left), Worrathira (middle), Thoopmanee (right) attended a specialized conference focused on advancing the role of pharmacists in clinical research.

The program covered a wide range of topics essential to strengthening research capacity, including:
Clinical research center (CRC) for pharmacists
Responsibilities of sponsors and principal investigators
Clinical trial procedures and ethical considerations
Risk-benefit analysis in clinical research
Good Clinical Practice (GCP) in CRC inspections by the Thai FDA
The conference also featured an experience-sharing session by pharmacists in CRC, providing practical insights into daily challenges and best practices.

Our participation underscores the institution’s commitment to strengthening clinical research standards, enhancing collaboration, and ensuring that pharmacists continue to play a vital role in advancing patient-centered research.

7/24にタイで開催された、臨床研究分野における薬剤師の役割に焦点をあてた専門会に、タイ事務所からWongatorn (左), Worrathira (中央), Thoopmanee (右)が参加しました。

臨床研究の質の向上、連携の強化、そして患者中心の研究の発展において薬剤師が引き続き重要な役割を果たせるよう、これからも取り組んでまいります。

On July 15, we welcomed Dr. Tran Thi Dieu Huyen from K Hospital, Vietnam, to the National Cancer Center Hospital, Japan, for an observational visit.

During her visit, we introduced the ATLAS Project and specifically MASTER KEY Asia.

We remain committed to advancing cancer research and cancer care across Asia through international collaboration.

7月15日、ベトナム・K HospitalのTran Thi Dieu Huyen先生が、見学のため国立がん研究センター中央病院を訪問されました。

当日は、ATLASプロジェクトおよびMASTER KEY Asiaについて紹介しました。

今後も国際的な連携を通じて、アジアにおけるがん研究・医療の発展に貢献してまいります。

On July 10, National Cancer Center Hospital Japan (NCCH) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), marking another important step in strengthening collaboration between the two institutions.

As the lead institution of the ATLAS Project (Asian Clinical Trials Network for Cancers), NCCH is committed to advancing multinational clinical trials and accelerating access to innovative cancer treatments across Asia.

This MoU will further advance collaboration between NCCH and NCCS, particularly in clinical research, education, and clinical trials, with the aim of improving cancer care across Asia.

To commemorate this important milestone, Dr. Yasuyuki Seto, Director of NCCH, and Prof. Lim Soon Thye, Chief Executive Officer of NCCS, exchanged a handshake following the signing ceremony, symbolizing the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing cancer research and patient care across Asia.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with NCCS and our partners across Asia through the ATLAS Project to accelerate innovation and improve outcomes for patients.

国立がん研究センター中央病院（NCCH）は、7月10日、シンガポール国立がんセンター（National Cancer Centre Singapore：NCCS）と、連携を一層強化するための覚書（MoU）を締結しました。

NCCHが主導するATLASプロジェクト（Asian Clinical Trials Network for Cancers）では、アジアにおける国際共同治験・臨床試験ネットワークの構築を推進しています。

今回のMoU締結により、臨床研究、教育、臨床試験を中心とした両機関の協力関係をさらに発展させ、アジア全体のがん医療の向上を目指します。

調印式では、国立がん研究センター中央病院瀬戸泰之病院長と、NCCSのChief Executive OfficerであるProf. Lim Soon Thyeが固い握手を交わし、今後のさらなる連携への期待を共有しました。

今後もATLASプロジェクトを通じて、アジア各国との連携を深め、革新的ながん治療の実現と患者さんへの貢献を目指してまいります。
