It was snowing in Tokyo last weekend.❄️ Time flies, it is already the middle of February though this is my first post this year...😅 It is still cold and dark early in the morning. Hope clients don’t develop anxiety, neck and shoulder pain, headache, vertigo, TMJ..., also pregnant clients and mothers who had a child birth keep warm and sleep well. 💕

Today is “Toji” in Japan.( The winter solstice)
Yuzu bath ♨️is a most famous Japanese culture on the winter solstice. We take a bath with Yuzu 🍋(citrus fruits) floating in the wam water.
A kind neighbor shared us Yuzu from their garden.☺️
Wish you also Warm your body and keep a good health too.🫶

Happy New Year✨ How was your beginning of the year 2025? I started the new year with Onsen and Ski. The 7th in Jan was the day of the seven herbs rice and porridges🥣(plus Miso soup) to rest the stomach after the irregular eating habits in new year.

The photo is a kind of miso soup called Tonjiru that I cook almost every week in winter. Add some ginger paste and spice would be more tasty and makes our body warm.👍

It’s a season of Mochi-tsuki🍡(pounding rice cake) that is a traditional event to prepare the New Year✨Mochi is made from rices called mochigome, steamed mochigome becomes stretchy texture by smushing and pounding. Our community provides people Mochi with grated radish, red been paste and several flavors. We can enjoy more that yummy mochi when we eat them with miso soup🫕 called Tonjiru, (the soup is including pork and a lot of root vegetables.🍠)
