What would you do if someone told you, “I don’t want to live anymore”

Su***de prevention is not the responsibility of one profession or one sector. We all have a role to play in recognizing distress, starting difficult conversations, responding safely, and connecting people to the support they need.

That’s why we created 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸: 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲, offering practical, skills-based training designed to help you move from knowing the signs to knowing what to do next.

Whether you’re a church leader, healthcare professional, educator, counsellor, or simply someone who wants to be better equipped to support others, there’s a place for you in this course.

Because sometimes, knowing what to say can make all the difference.

Walking into a support group for the first time can feel intimidating.

“What if I don’t know what to say?”
“What if I get emotional?”
“What if I don’t fit in?”

The truth is, you don’t have to arrive with the right words or all the answers. You can simply come as you are.

Our support groups are built on compassion, confidentiality, and connection. Whether you choose to share or simply listen, you’ll be welcomed into a space where you don’t have to carry your experiences alone.

Support Groups:
• Su***de Attempt Survivor Support Group – Starts July 1
• Su***de Loss Support Group – Starts July 2
• Living with Suicidal Thoughts Support Group – Starts July 3

Taking the first step can feel difficult, but you don’t have to take it alone.

Many men become "the strong one" long before adulthood.

They learn to carry responsibility, solve problems, and support others. Over time, strength can become confused with self-reliance, making it difficult to ask for support even when it is needed most.

The challenge is that people often assume the strong ones are doing okay because they continue functioning.

But functioning is not the same as thriving.

Su***de prevention requires us to notice the people everyone assumes are fine, check in consistently, and create spaces where support feels safe to receive.

Who is the strong one in your life?

Reach out. Stay connected.

Connection Creates Hope.

Some people aren’t okay… They're just really good at hiding it.

“I’m tired” can mean more than needing sleep.
“I’m fine” can mean “please don’t ask more.”

If this feels familiar for you or someone you love,
You don’t have to carry it alone.

Many therapists know the feeling: the session ends, the documentation is complete… but the emotional residue lingers.
Su***de disclosure brings complexity, responsibility, and often an internal question:

"𝘈𝘮 𝘐 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘺, 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯?”

Our upcoming cohort offers a structured, relationally grounded pathway for individuals who want to deepen their steadiness, clarity, and confidence in these moments.

If this is an area you want to grow in, there’s still time.
Registration remains open for five more days.
