Fatherhood's Significance Beyond Provision of Material Needs

For a long time, Fathers have been mentored to see their roles as primarily provision of materials needs for the family. Not bad at all...The only challenge is that this role, as central as it is has been pushed to the exclusion of all the other very important roles father's play.

Fathers sometimes find themselves unable to locate their space in family when they are not providing and sometimes even the family expecting to only provide and without that aspect, they are not seen as useful. a reality has been co-created in this case but it's not complete.

Research continues to show great experiences and joys that the family enjoys when Fathers are not just providers but also present, involved and actively leading even in the absence of provision. we are taking on this topic to share on Fatherhood, fathers and their places in the family and community and that is balanced, healthy and progressive.

The first stage of marriage was a dream stage where everything is tolerated and understood, you kiss your partner when you feel disappointed with them and all the anger disappears 😎😀.The second stage is DRAMA where everything is seen for what it is and sometimes misunderstood, you rush for the throat , not to miss but to squeeze it,🤔. What makes drama crazy and awesome at the same time is that fights are common and the two love birds now begin to focus on each other's mistakes but not their strengths.. Dreams are over and people are awake to the reality that they are humans after all.

It's an awesome stage to GROW as a person in Character because you have your partner holding to you a mirror to see you for real. BUT Drama also breaks many relationships especially where the two are not ready for growth and instead chooses to want to change the partner, gets angry at them and eventually resent them because they will resist being changed.

To navigate this stage successfully, remember to focus on growing yourself in terms of Character and being gracious with your partner. A successful navigation of this leads you to a wonderful stage of love and happiness and growth and strength. Breaking up and starting again in a new relationship enivitably lands you here again🤣🤣

The Mouse beats a human at adaptability...If you feed a mouse cheese at a particular place for sometime, it will come back there for it. If it misses it, it will look elsewhere...
If you feed a human the same, if he misses it one day, he will spend so many hours looking for the cheese in the same place.

What can we learn from the mouse?
