Every movement begins with one act of hope.🤍
When we launched the Hope Against Cancer Initiative (HACI) in October 2024, we had one dream to ensure that no cancer patient would face their journey alone because of financial hardship. We didn't know exactly how the journey would unfold, but one thing became clear very quickly: we were never walking alone.
Today, we celebrate and sincerely thank ABSA Bank Kenya for being one of the steadfast partners of the Hope Against Cancer Initiative (HACI).
From attending our events and charity walks to making generous contributions, ABSA has consistently demonstrated that corporate social responsibility is about more than giving, it is about transforming lives.
Because of their support, we have been able to:
💚 Subsidize morphine for cancer patients, helping to ease pain and improve comfort.
💚 Host quarterly cancer support group meetings, creating safe spaces where patients and caregivers find strength, encouragement, and hope.
💚 Conduct monthly home visits, ensuring that patients who are unable to travel continue to receive compassionate care, follow-up, and emotional support.
These may seem like simple acts, but to a patient battling cancer, they mean the world. They mean relief from pain, a listening ear, a hand to hold, and the reassurance that they are not walking this journey alone.
