CC LAVINGTON - Our Mental Health Inpatient and Out patient Respite care is when the patient and patient's family members take a break from the daily routine. Why is this break needed? The patient (who could be someone elderly, sick or both) may currently have professional c
aregivers at home, or may have family members acting as caregivers. This daily routine can be taxing and slow down recovery and healing. It can also be taxing for family members. Respite is simply a relief for some time- a few days, weeks or months, depending on the situation. Our facility is a safe and relaxing space where patients can recover, relax and rejuvenate. We have caregivers, nurses and specialists within the facility who are ready to ensure an appropriate care plan is devised and followed. Our chef is on standby to prepare tasty and nutritious meals for our patients. We are also a step-down facility which simply means that we are the intermediary between hospital and home, after a patient has undergone surgery or been discharged post hospital admission. Our facility poses lower risk of infection, better environment for recovery, lower costs and overall a better experience for both patient and family. Our outpatient clinic is open to any individual seeking: psychotherapy, nutrition advice, physiotherapy, wound care and a general practitioner. We are excited to be pioneers of specialist care in Kenya and are proud of our reasonable rates, making specialized care accessible.
