HIV Testing and Counselling, Deworming (Adults and Children), Interactive Health Talks, Discounted Ultrasound Exams , Family Planning , Vaccination ( KEPI), Nutrition counselling & malnutrition interventions and Gender Based Violence Recovery Services (men, women & children)

Mental wellness belongs to everyone 🧠 ✨

Behind the daily hustle, the resilient smiles, and the immense pressure of the provider role, many men in our community are quietly struggling. In today’s demanding economic climate, the expectations placed on men to provide, protect, and remain unshakable can take a heavy toll on their psychological well-being.

At KWCWC, we interact daily with families in Kasarani and surrounding areas, and we see how deeply financial stress and societal pressure can impact a household. True wellness means taking care of the mind just as much as the body.

If you are a man reading this: it is okay to feel tired, it is okay to feel anxious, and it is completely normal to need a break. Let us build a supportive community where men do not have to wear a mask of perfection. Check on your brothers, your fathers, your colleagues, and your friends. 🧠💪

At the Kenya Women & Children's Wellness Centre (KWCWC), we believe that a healthy community begins with healthy individuals. Traditionally, society teaches men and boys to absorb stress, mask vulnerability, and carry life's heavy burdens in total silence.

This Men's Mental Health Month, we are actively working to change that narrative. True strength isn't about weathering a silent storm alone; it is about having the courage to speak up when you are overwhelmed. Mental health struggles do not discriminate, and seeking support is a powerful step towards healing, not a sign of weakness.
