🎾⚡ TESTING DAY 🎾⚡

Today we welcome to the Performance Medicine family — and we’re kicking things off the right way: with data.

VO2 max. Metabolic testing. Lactate threshold. Biokinetic and physiotherapy assessments. Every system checked, every baseline set — because peak performance starts with knowing exactly where you stand.

As Angella steps into the next chapter of her journey toward the top of the game, we’re proud to be her performance medicine and sports science partner — building the foundation for what’s next, one data point at a time.

Big thanks to for bringing world-class testing science to the table today.

Testing day at Performance Medicine 🔬📊

VO2 max, metabolic, and lactate threshold testing give us the numbers behind the effort — aerobic capacity, fuel utilization, and the exact point where the body shifts from steady-state to strain. It’s the difference between guessing and knowing exactly where an athlete stands.

Grateful for the partnership with VO2 Master and Agu Hernández in bringing this level of precision testing to our athletes here in Nairobi. Data like this doesn’t just measure fitness — it shapes pacing strategy, training zones, and smarter, safer progressions.

More testing days ahead. 💪🏾

🌿 Why Outdoor Pilates ??🌞

1️⃣ Boosts Your Mood Instantly
Fresh air + natural light = increased serotonin and reduced stress. Moving your body outside just feels better.

2️⃣ Deeper Mind-Body Connection
Nature helps you slow down and tune in. Breathing exercises feel more grounding outdoors.

3️⃣ Vitamin D Glow
Sun exposure supports immune health, bone strength, and that natural post-workout glow.

4️⃣ Challenges Your Stability
Uneven ground (grass, sand, etc.) activates more stabilizing muscles—hello stronger core!

5️⃣ Reduces Stress + Anxiety
Being in green spaces lowers cortisol levels, making your practice even more restorative.

6️⃣ Feels Less Like a Workout, More Like Self-Care
Birds chirping > gym speakers. It’s movement therapy.

FIRST IN KENYA & EAST AFRICA 🇰🇪🌍

We’re bringing gold-standard performance diagnostics to East Africa for the very first time.

🔬 VO₂ Max Testing
🩸 Lactate Threshold Testing
📏 Anthropometry & Body Composition

These are the same tools used by Olympic programs, elite endurance teams, and high-performance labs worldwide — now available in Nairobi.

Why this matters 👇

• VO₂ max remains the strongest single predictor of aerobic endurance performance and cardiovascular capacity
( Bassett & Howley, Med Sci Sports Exerc, 2000 )

• Lactate testing allows precise identification of training zones, improves endurance adaptations, and optimises race performance
( Faude et al., Sports Medicine, 2009 )

• Anthropometry & body composition profiling are essential for monitoring performance, health, injury risk, and long-term athlete development
( Ackland et al., Sports Medicine, 2012 )

Together, these assessments allow us to:
✔️ Individualise training loads
✔️ Optimise endurance & speed
✔️ Track adaptations over time
✔️ Reduce injury & overtraining risk
✔️ Support elite and recreational athletes with objective data
