Our DNA Testing services recently helped a family find peace and harmony after many years of conflict since an accident took the life of the alleged father.
In this case, the deceased left behind a widow, a child and an inheritance that was heavily contested with other family members. Also, the child was often sidelined as "sio wa kwetu", a matter that greatly saddened the mother. So what did we do?

The family had kept the deceased nails before burial which we used to obtain DNA profiles and compared with the child. A 99.99% match confirmed that the deceased was the biological father of the child effectively putting an end to years of frustration and conflict.

The truth is that even the dead have a DNA; either among their direct relatives or their bones, nails and teeth. We can use samples from immediate family members like aunts/uncles/ brother/suster/mother/father. We can also compare samples of the contested individual with other siblings, if present. As the options are many and the science is true, families should not be left in a limbo while we can provide accurate and reliable results

LET US TALK BLOOD GROUP COMPATIBILITY:

If the mother is Rhesus positive (A+, B+, AB+ or O+), there are no medical concerns that might affect pregnancy whether or not the father is a negative or positive.

However, if the mother is Rhesus negative (A-,B-, AB- or O-) and the father is a Rhesus positive (A+, B+, AB+ or O+), the mother's immune system will attack the baby's blood cells if the baby is Rhesus positive. This can cause miscarriages.

💡🤔SHOULD WE BREAK UP CAUSE SHE'S A -VE AND I'M A +VE?

No. First thing to do is to confirm your blood group. if she is a -ve and you are a +ve, you can still have a successful healthy pregnancy. In such cases, the mother receives routine Rh Immune globulin commonly called anti-D immune globulin around week 28 of pregnancy and within 72hrs after birth to protect all future pregnancies.
