A Prayer for Courage, Healing, Forgiveness and Hope
Almighty God, I come before You with a humble heart, asking You to give me the courage and confidence to continue using my story to save and encourage the lives of many people.
Give me the strength to speak about my journey without fear, so that someone who feels that life is too hard because they are living with HIV may find hope through my story. Help me remind them that their status does not make them less worthy of love, happiness, dignity, or a beautiful future.
Lord, forgive us for our shortcomings and help us to learn from our mistakes. Give us the wisdom to help people heal instead of hurting one another. Teach us to take our medication faithfully, to care for ourselves, and to encourage others to do the same.
Give us hearts that know how to forgive those who have hurt us, whether through words, rejection, stigma, discrimination, or actions. Help us release the pain we carry and replace it with peace, love, and understanding.
Almighty God, may we never lack medicine, healthcare, support, love, or people who care for us. You are the only One who truly knows the pain we carry, even when we smile and pretend that everything is okay.
There are moments when it feels as though we are competing with a disease that people fear so much. But Lord, remind us that our lives are still valuable and that our future is still in Your hands.
Please provide resources for every person who needs help. Bless the person reading this prayer. Give them courage when they feel weak, hope when they feel hopeless, and strength when they feel like giving up.
Heal those who are sick and those lying in hospital beds. Comfort their families and give them strength. May no one go without the medicine and care they need.
Lord, for those who are praying for a partner, bless them with someone who will love, respect, protect, support, and accept them completely. May they experience genuine love, because love conquers all.

Cancer deserves care. HIV deserves care. Every chronic illness deserves compassion.
To everyone living with HIV: you are not your diagnosis. You are not dirty. You are not a burden. You are not a demon. You are a human being deserving of love, dignity and respect.
And to those who stigmatize us, I ask you to stop and think before you speak. You never know how deeply your words can hurt someone.
No one is happy to have a disease. What people need is love, care, understanding and support not stigma. ❤️

Stop Comparing Illnesses Stop Stigmatizing People Living With HIV
Today I want to speak about something that hurts many people living with HIV: the way some people compare HIV with cancer and say, “At least HIV is better than cancer.”
Please stop.
HIV is not something anyone should use to insult, shame, or make another person feel less worthy. People living with HIV also suffer. We experience fear, stigma, rejection, discrimination, loneliness, and sometimes tears that nobody sees.
Some people even tell us that HIV is “better” because we can take medicine and continue living. But they forget that living with a chronic condition can come with challenges that are not always visible. We can take our medication every day and still face people who treat us like enemies simply because of our status.
And please understand this: one person can live with HIV and cancer at the same time. They can also have diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, or other chronic illnesses. So why do we keep comparing diseases as if one person's suffering is more important than another's?
When someone says, “I am living with cancer,” people often surround them with love, prayers, encouragement and support. But when someone says, “I am living with HIV,” some people suddenly judge them, call them names, avoid them, or treat them like they are a danger to society.
Why?
We did not choose HIV. And nobody deserves to be called a demon, dirty, useless, or any other hurtful name because of a health condition.
Sometimes I cry because of how living with HIV has made some people look at us. We are human beings. We love. We dream. We work. We have families. We have goals. We laugh, we cry, and we have feelings just like everyone else.
Please don't compare our illnesses. Compare the compassion you are willing to give.
Cancer deserves care. HIV deserves care. Every chronic illness deserves compassion.

🙏🏽 A PRAYER FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV 🙏🏽

Heavenly Father,

Today, I pray for every person living with HIV. I pray for those who have been called names, judged, rejected, humiliated, or made to feel like they are less worthy because of their HIV status.

Lord, please heal the hearts of those who have cried in silence because of the words and actions of others. Forgive those who have hurt us, those who made our lives difficult, and those who made us feel like we had failed ourselves simply because we acquired HIV.

Give us the strength to forgive, even when the pain has been deep. Give us peace where there has been shame, courage where there has been fear, and hope where we once felt hopeless.

Remind every person living with HIV that You love us. ❤️

We are still here not because the journey has been easy, but because Your grace has carried us through every challenge we have faced. We have survived moments we thought would break us. We have watched people judge us, but You continued to remind us that our lives have value.

Father, some people may look at us and see sinners, mistakes, or a status. But You see Your children. You see our hearts, our dreams, our struggles, and our strength.

May the fruit of the Holy Spirit grow within us love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. May our lives become a testimony that HIV does not define who we are.

Give us courage to overcome stigma. Give us strength to continue taking care of ourselves, to love ourselves, to take our treatment, and to live our lives without shame.

And to everyone living with HIV who feels alone today: God has not forgotten you. You are loved. You are worthy. Your life matters. Your story is not over.

May God continue to give us strength to walk through this journey with faith, dignity, and hope.

Faith, Healing and the Truth About HIV
When I was young, I remember being the only child in my family living with HIV. My mother struggled to accept that we were HIV positive. I sometimes saw her going to pastors and crusades, giving offerings and hoping that through prayer we would be healed.
As a child, I believed that maybe one day I would wake up and HIV would be gone. Sadly, I also watched some of my friends die because they were deceived into believing that prayer, special oils, herbs, or other things could cure HIV and they stopped taking their medicine.
Today, I understand something differently: God can give us strength, hope, wisdom and the courage to keep going, but we should not be deceived into abandoning our HIV treatment. At present, there is no cure that removes HIV from the body. However, taking ART correctly and consistently can suppress the virus, protect our health, and help people living with HIV live long and healthy lives.
I believe in God, and I also believe in taking my medicine. Faith and treatment can walk together. Pray, believe, seek God but also take your medicine.
My story is a reminder that we should never give false hope to someone living with HIV. Instead, let us give them truth, love, support and hope. ❤️

25 & Still Rising 🎂❤️
Today I turn 25… and honestly, I can only say God, thank You for the journey. 🥹❤️
I was born with HIV, and at just three months old, my life became a journey I never chose but today, I am proud of the woman that journey has shaped me into.
I have grown through stigma, judgment, loss, pain, laughter, tears, and moments when I wondered whether I would make it this far. I have lost friends along the way, experienced people treating me differently because of HIV, and even been judged for simply being open about who I am.
But look at me now… 25 years old and still here! 🎉🥳
HIV did not take away my dreams. It did not take away my beauty. It did not take away my ability to love, to become a mother, to work, to advocate, to laugh loudly, to dress how I want, or to dream about my future.
If you are living with HIV and reading this, please hear me: YOU ARE NOT YOUR VIRAL LOAD. YOU ARE NOT YOUR STATUS. YOU ARE A HUMAN BEING WITH A FUTURE. ❤️
Take your medication, know your status, keep your appointments, surround yourself with people who support you, and never allow someone else's ignorance to make you ashamed of yourself.
And to my friends and everyone who has walked with me through this journey thank you for loving me, supporting me, challenging me, laughing with me and sometimes even tolerating my stubbornness 😂😂❤️.
Today isn't just my birthday.
It is 25 years of survival.
25 years of strength.
25 years of lessons.
25 years of becoming.
25 years of proving that HIV is not the end of the story.
So today, I am not just blowing out candles. 🎂
I am celebrating LIFE. 🥂❤️

My Piercing, My Choice 💎🔥

My piercing seems to bother some people more than it bothers me. 😂 But honestly, why do we judge someone’s character based on how they choose to look?

A piercing doesn’t define my heart, my values, my intelligence, or the kind of person I am. It’s simply a choice I made about my own body.

I know some people will say, “Remove it,” “You’re misleading young people,” or “That doesn’t look good on you.” And that’s okay—we don’t all have to like the same things. ❤️

But let me ask you: Would you stop respecting someone simply because they have a piercing?
