Supporting breastfeeding starts long before birth.

From 1–7 August, we recognise World Breastfeeding Week—a time to acknowledge the commitment, resilience and care of mothers who choose to breastfeed, while recognising the many people and systems that help make that journey possible.

Behind every breastfeeding experience are moments of dedication, perseverance and love, often while mothers navigate recovery, family responsibilities and the demands of everyday life. Yet successful breastfeeding is never the responsibility of mothers alone.

It is made possible through the collective support of healthcare professionals, caregivers, employers, policymakers and resilient healthcare systems that create environments where mothers and babies can thrive.

At Aspen, we are proud to play our part in strengthening that healthcare ecosystem. Across our global operations—from research and development to manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain and commercial teams—our people work every day to help ensure patients have reliable access to essential medicines when and where they are needed.

This World Breastfeeding Week, we celebrate every mother, recognise those working tirelessly behind the scenes to support them, and reaffirm our shared responsibility to give every child the healthiest possible start in life.

Because supporting breastfeeding begins with supporting mothers.

This World Environment Day, 5th June, we are reminded of an undeniable reality: climate change is real and our planet is sending clear signals that urgent action is needed.

As part of this year's global call for climate action, which calls on us to be honest with ourselves about the effects and reality of climate change, while also recognising that this reality should drive us to act we are amplifying the voices of the people. Today, watch as they share their perspectives on what climate change means, why climate action matters and the impact it has on our planet, communities and future generations.

Through our commitments and actions, we are taking meaningful steps to reduce our environmental impact and contribute to lower-carbon future.

Our goal is to reduce our absolute combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon emissions by 50% by FY2030, against our FY2020 baseline and to achieve net-zero carbon emissions across our operations by 2050.

The time to act is now. We encourage you to join us in making commitments to protect the future of our planet. Collectively, our actions can have a greater impact.

Wishing everyone a meaningful and proud Madaraka Day.

Motherhood is defined by the daily manifestation of love, strength, and presence in our lives rather than by any one narrative.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate all those who create room for others, including moms, stepmothers, aunts, and mother figures across our company, whose influence is often felt in the quiet, unnoticed events. Homes are created, futures are directed, and communities are maintained via the unseen work, emotional fortitude, and daily gestures of love.

Motherhood is both delicate and complex, a mix of happiness and difficulty, presence and persistence. It is very personal, but everyone knows what it means. And even though no two paths are exactly alike, they are connected by a common thread of purpose, sacrifice, and ongoing love.

We celebrate and appreciate today the combined power of those who keep showing up—at home, at work, and everywhere in between—who are helping to create not just families but also the culture and spirit of our company.
