The hospital closes. My mind doesn’t. 🏥💭

People often ask me how I carry the weight of oncology.

The truth is, I don’t always.

Some patients never leave my mind. 💔 Some conversations replay long after the clinic is over. Some faces stay with me for years.

So I come here. ⛰️

To the mountains. To the silence. To breathe. To reflect.

Not because the mountains erase the weight, but because they remind me that tomorrow, someone else will be waiting for hope.

I can’t save everyone.

But I can keep showing up. 🤍

One patient.
One family.
One conversation.
One day at a time.

Some burdens are never put down. You simply become strong enough to carry them. ❤️‍🩹

DOCTORS ARE HUMAN.

We bleed.🩸
We break.💔
We keep showing up.💪🏾

Doctors’ Day may be over, but the people behind the white coats are still here. Every shift. Every call. Every patient. 💙🩺

Be kind to your doctor. Behind every stethoscope is a human being. 🤍

Happy Doctors’ Day to every healthcare professional who keeps showing up. Thank you. 👏🏽🙏🏽

If you’ve watched The Polygamist, you’ll know every character leaves an impression. 😅

So I thought… what if they were chemotherapy side effects?

Before my oncology colleagues report me to the Medical Board… this is all in good fun. 😄

The real lesson is this.

Many people still picture chemotherapy as something unbearable. That may have been true decades ago, but oncology has changed dramatically.

Today we have better anti-nausea medicines, better infection prevention, better supportive care, and a much better understanding of how to manage side effects. Many patients continue working, exercising, travelling, and spending time with family during treatment.

Every side effect in this carousel is real. More importantly, most are manageable when patients speak up early.

Cancer treatment should never be a journey of silent suffering.

Now over to you…

People often ask me why I chose oncology.

The truth is, cancer patients have taught me far more than I could ever teach them.

They’ve taught me courage when the future is uncertain.
They’ve taught me gratitude for the ordinary moments in life.
They’ve taught me that hope can exist even on the hardest days.

Every diagnosis is a reminder that life is precious.

Every patient is a reminder that the human spirit is stronger than we think.

To every patient and caregiver who has trusted me to be part of your journey, thank you.

You are the reason I do what I do. ❤️

“Doc, so what exactly am I supposed to eat?” 🤔🥩🍗🥬

One of the most common conversations in oncology is about food. Unfortunately, it’s also one of the areas filled with the most myths, confusion, and conflicting advice.

This video is a light-hearted educational skit inspired by real-world questions patients often ask.

No real patients were harmed, mocked, or featured in the making of this content. ❤️

The goal is simple: educate, inform, and maybe share a smile while doing it. 🎗️
