Mental Health Day at Sikri TVC | 29th May 2026

We had a meaningful and impactful Mental Health Day at Sikri technical training institute for blind and deaf bringing together both staff and students for an engaging session on mental health literacy.

The session focused on building awareness and understanding around mental health—breaking stigma, recognizing early signs of distress, and promoting practical ways to support oneself and others. Through open conversations and interactive discussions, participants gained valuable insights into maintaining emotional wellbeing in both academic and work environments.

Creating safe spaces where people can talk, learn, and support each other is key to fostering healthier institutions.

STUDENT LEADERS TRAINING | EQUATOR GREEN GARDEN & RESORTS – 23rd May 2026

We had the privilege of facilitating an impactful Student Leaders Training session at Equator Green Garden and Resort on Saturday, 23rd May 2026.

The session focused on equipping young leaders with practical skills and insights to enhance their leadership journey.

Through interactive discussions, real-life scenarios, and engaging team-building activities, the student leaders were empowered to lead with confidence, integrity, and purpose.

We were honored to facilitate a Mental Health and Teambuilding session for the dedicated staff of Riragia Technical and Vocational College —both teaching and non-teaching—at Itibo Resort, Kisii on 16th May 2026.

The session focused on equipping participants with practical skills to understand and respond to trauma, while fostering resilience, emotional well-being, and supportive workplace relationships. Through engaging discussions and interactive teambuilding activities, staff strengthened their connections, improved communication, and renewed their commitment to a healthy and collaborative work environment.

MEDIATION TRAINING | BUILDING EFFECTIVE & ETHICAL MEDIATORS

On Wednesday, 13th May 2026, we had the privilege of facilitating an impactful Mediation Training in partnership with Scopetalk Consultancy at Famous Gate Hotel, Bomet.

The session brought together passionate participants committed to strengthening their mediation practice and enhancing conflict resolution skills.

Key focus areas included:
🔹 The Effective Mediator – exploring essential qualities, ethical and professional standards, and the importance of self-care in practice
🔹 Mediation Skills – practical approaches to communication, neutrality, problem-solving, and managing diverse conflict dynamics

It was an engaging and insightful session filled with learning, reflection, and practical application.

We appreciate all participants who will graduate on 15th May 2026 upon completion of the course for their active involvement and commitment to promoting peaceful conflict resolution in their spaces.

Kenya Secondary School Heads Association Kesses sub county had a meeting at Hills school girls Eldoret and we were privileged to be part.

We believe that Principals, as key leaders, shape school climate, enabling early identification of mental health issues, reducing stigma, and implementing effective preventive strategies.

We later met the sub county sports association at St. Luke's Cheptiret High school where we discussed the role of Emotional intelligence in sports. (EI) plays a pivotal role in sports, influencing athletes, coaches, and teams in various impactful ways. The integration of EI skills in sports environments enhances performance, develops positive team dynamics, and endorses overall psychological well-being among athletes. It helps athletes, coaches, and teams to recognize, understand, and manage emotions effectively in themselves and others, thereby influencing performance, teamwork, and overall well-being in sports contexts according to Manu Singh Pawar.
