We are proud to announce that our hospital participated in the Annual DOSH (Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services) Kenya Awards and emerged as 2nd Runners‑Up nationwide .

The DOSH Awards are a national recognition program that evaluates organizations on their commitment to occupational safety and health compliance, risk management, staff training, emergency preparedness, infection prevention, and overall workplace safety culture. The assessment process involves rigorous documentation review and on‑site inspections conducted by DOSH professionals to benchmark organisations against statutory OSH standards and best practices.

This achievement reflects the dedication, teamwork, and vigilance of our staff in fostering a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment for both employees and patients. We sincerely thank every team member for playing their part in upholding safety excellence.

Together, we remain committed to continuous improvement and setting the standard for workplace safety.

Happy Nurses Week .

This year’s theme, “Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives,” is a powerful reminder of the impact nurses have on our healthcare system and our communities.

At Valley Hospital, we see this impact every day — in the compassion shown to patients, the resilience during long shifts, and the dedication to delivering quality care even in the most demanding moments.

Our nurses go beyond clinical care. They listen, support, advocate, and stand beside patients and families when it matters most.

Because of you, care is not just delivered — it is felt.
