Another Year of Grace: Reflecting on the Journey and Embracing the Promise
Today, as the sun rises on my birthday, my heart is overwhelmingly full. Before I celebrate with friends, family, or even myself, my very first instinct is to pause and look upward. I am alive. I am breathing. I am here. And for that, I am endlessly grateful to God.
Looking back at the past 365 days, I am struck by the sheer magnitude of God’s faithfulness in my life. This past year was a tapestry woven with both vibrant threads of joy and dark threads of challenge. There were moments when I stood on the mountaintops celebrating, and there were valleys where I had to rely entirely on His strength just to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Through the storms and the sunshine, the greatest lesson this past year taught me is that God’s grace is truly sufficient. He didn't just watch over me; He actively guided me, protected me, and refined me. I am not the same person I was on my last birthday. I am wiser, I am more resilient, and my faith is deeper.
Lord, I just want to say thank You. Thank You for the blessings bestowed upon me, both the ones I can see and the countless ones I am blind to. Thank You for the roof over my head, the food on my table, and the breath in my lungs. Thank You for the people You have placed in my corner, those who have loved me unconditionally, challenged me to grow, and prayed for me when I didn't have the words. Thank You for the open doors that allowed me to step into my purpose, and equally, thank You for the closed doors that protected me from what wasn't meant for me. Every single blessing, big or small, is a testament to Your love for me.
As I stand at the threshold of this new age, I am not just looking forward with hope; I am looking forward with absolute certainty, because I know who holds my future. Thank You, God, for the year ahead. Before I even take my first step into this new chapter, I thank You in advance for the victories, the breakthroughs, and the peace that are already prepared for me. I surrender my plans, my worries, and my dreams to You.
Happy birthday CEO
