✨ The 5th Asia Optometric Congress (AOC 2026), held in conjunction with the 10th ASEAN Optometric Conference and the 5th Optometry Vietnam Conference, will take place in Da Nang City, Vietnam.

AOC 2026 is an international scientific event that brings together experts, eye care professionals, researchers, lecturers, and the optometry community from across Asia and beyond. The congress aims to share the latest advancements, promote professional collaboration, and contribute to the development of optometry and vision care in the region.

The optometrist team successfully carried out schoolchildren vision screening and provision of spectacles in five schools in Phnom Penh from mid-December 2025 through 6 January 2026. The Optometrist Society of Cambodia, in collaboration with ONESIGHT and ACTS Singapore, conducted vision screening and provided glasses to children and community members at Don Bosco, Battambang Province. A total of 691 people were screened, with 125 spectacles dispensed and over 100 protective glasses distributed.
Thank you to the school principal, teachers, the ONESIGHT team, and the ACTS Singapore team and OSC’s team for their coordination and support in making this event a success.
