Have you discovered Kandal Village?
Just a six-minute walk from the energy of Pub Street lies one of my favourite parts of Siem Reap.
Whether you know it as Hap Guan Street or Hup Guan Street, this charming corner of the city is filled with independent cafés, contemporary art galleries, boutique shops and hidden little discoveries around every corner.
The New York Times once described it as "one of Siem Reap's coolest mini 'hoods," and after spending years living and working here, I couldn't agree more.
