We recently learned that Hobak, a cat under the care of Rebel Rescue South Korea, was in critical condition and urgently needed a blood transfusion. Unfortunately, due to both financial limitations and the current shortage of feline blood in Korea, securing the blood he needed was extremely difficult.
Our team reached out to more than 10 nearby veterinary hospitals and blood banks in hopes of finding blood for Hobak. Thankfully, we were able to secure approximately **100 mL of blood last night**.
To further support Hobak’s treatment, I Care Counseling Center also covered the expenses related to his blood transfusion, including blood testing, transfusion costs, transportation, and other associated medical expenses.
At I Care, we believe that caring for our community goes beyond the work we do inside our counseling rooms. We want to make a positive impact wherever we can—supporting both people and animals when they need help the most.
