It is proven that diets containing higher amounts of fast foods and other processed foods high in unhealthy fats, starches, or added sugars, are causes of weight gain, overweight, and obesity, which are a risk factor for breast cancer.

The British Medical Journal (BMJ) study showed that a 10 percent increase in the proportion of ultra-processed foods in the diet was associated with an 11 percent risk of breast cancer.

أثبتت الدراسات أن الحمية التي تكثر فيها كميّات الوجبات السريعة والأغذية المعالجة الكثيرة الدهون غير الصحيّة، والنشويات والسكر المضاف تتسبب بالوزن الزائد والسمنة والسمنة المفرطة وهي عناصر تزيد من خطر الاصابة بسرطان الثدي.
عرضت الصحيفة الطبيّة البريطانيّة (BMJ) دراسة تظهر أن ارتفاعًا بنسبة 10% من الغذاء العالي المعالج في الحمية الغذائية يرتبط بزيادة بنسبة 11% من الاصابة بسرطان الثدي.

When you decide to get a MammoRisk® test, you will first have a “preventive consultation” at the practice, dedicated to analysing your breast cancer risk. This appointment can take the form of either an online or on-site (at the clinic consultation). Your doctor starts by evaluating eligibility for the MammoRisk® test by completing the questionnaire provided by the software. If you’re eligible for the test, you will get a prescription for a mammogram and a saliva sample (if available). If the appointment is conducted remotely, the saliva kit is sent by courier and the documents (prescription and consents) are sent by email.

عندما تقرّرين إجراء اختبار ® MammoRisk، تحصلين بداية على "معاينة وقائيّة" في العيادة، تهدف إلى تحليل مدى خطر الاصابة بسرطان الثدي. قد يكون الفحص حضوريًا أو عن بعد. يبدأ الطبيب بتقييم أهليّتك لإجراء اختبار ® MammoRisk عبر ملء استمارة الكترونية على برنامج خاص. في حال كنت مؤهّلة للاختبار، يعطيك الطبيب وصفة لإجراء صورة شعاعيّة للثدي وأخذ عيّنة من اللعاب (إذا توفّر الاختبار). في حال حصول الفحص عن بعد، تصلك عينة فحص اللعاب بالبريد وتصلك المستندات اللازمة (الوصفة الطبيّة واستمارة الموافقة) بالبريد الالكتروني.

The risk of breast cancer is not inevitable – a healthy lifestyle contributes to a lower risk of breast cancer in women.

There are better alternatives to red meats such as fish and chicken because they are rich in lean protein. According to scientists, some types of fats are linked with cancer growth. However, omega-3 fatty acids in salmon and tuna reduces body inflammations leading to a healthier brain and heart as well.
