Hamdi al Zaim ILD outpatient Center is the first center in Lebanon that provides a comprehensive multidisciplinary care for patients with Interstitial Lung Disease. Our mission is to offer patients and families with compassionate, holistic, and innovative high quality of care; conduct clinical and basic research in the pathogenesis of lung fibrosis, and educate patients, their families, the commu

nity and the health care providers about the interstitial lung diseases and its impact on health and wellbeing of patients.​

Hamdi Al Zaim (Zaim ILD ) ILD Outpatient Center team seeks to advance the ability to diagnose, monitor disease progression, and discover new therapies through collaboration with world ILD centers and with the utilization of clinical and research skills. The Zaim ILD Center at AUBMC is also dedicated to train future clinicians and researchers in the fields of interstitial lung diseases. These efforts are in line with AUBMC’s vision to place AUBMC as the leading academic center in the region for the investigation and therapy of Interstitial Lung Diseases.​

A look back at the Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness campaign held this past September at AUB and AUBMC.

Throughout September, the Zaim ILD Center team engaged students, staff, patients, and visitors to raise awareness about pulmonary fibrosis, highlight the importance of early detection, and share practical lung health resources.

Thank you to everyone who passed by our booths, asked questions, and took part in the screenings and activities. Awareness starts with conversations and every one of them matters.
