The Halo Effect
The “Halo Effect” is a psychology term that explains how we sometimes see someone as “better” just because of their appearance, style, confidence, or first impression.
The word halo comes from the glowing circle above angels, often linked to perfection and goodness. In real life, people can also create a kind of “halo” around themselves, where we automatically assume positive things about them before truly knowing them.
A reminder that first impressions are powerful… but they are not always the full story.
