A rare medical case reported in 2023 showed a seed germinating inside a man’s ear. While this is extremely uncommon, moisture and dust in the ear can often lead to irritation and infections.

Today, the same principle called bone conduction, helps us better understand hearing and provide precise hearing solutions.
Modern bone conduction technology can help restore hearing in certain cases such as otosclerosis, chronic otitis media, and other middle ear problems. These devices, sometimes called hearing glasses, use a bone conduction processor built into the frame to send vibrations directly to the inner ear.
