Cooperation Agreement Between SGUMC and Eye & Ear Hospital International

Saint George University Medical Center (SGUMC) and Eye & Ear Hospital International signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 14, 2026, aimed at strengthening academic and professional collaboration, exchanging expertise, and advancing medical education and training.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Ziad Haidar, representing SGUMC, and Dr. Pierre Jalkh, representing Eye & Ear Hospital International, in the presence of Dr. Alex Jalkh, Dr. Alexander Nehme, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Saint George University of Beirut (SGUB), and Dr. Danny El Hamed, Director of the Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) Office.

This partnership marks an important step toward fostering sustainable collaboration, developing joint initiatives, and strengthening the integration of medical education and clinical practice, with a shared commitment to excellence in healthcare.
