Honored to have presented at the Lebanese Ophthalmologic Society Annual Meeting this year! 🇱🇧✨

I had the pleasure of speaking about the use of botulinum toxin in medicine (botox). I also shared some fascinating history—how an ophthalmologist first discovered its use in humans, and how others later pioneered its cosmetic use. 👁💉💫

In addition, I gave an update on the latest in thyroid eye disease—a condition that continues to evolve with exciting new treatment options on the horizon.

Grateful to be among such brilliant colleagues and to contribute to a field I’m so passionate about 🙏🏻

3,000 people suffered severe injuries to their eyes and faces due to exploding pagers. Of those, 100+ of the most severe cases flooded our hospital, and we performed non-stop emergency surgeries for four full days.

Very honored to co-chair the Lebanese session 🇱🇧 at the World Ophthalmology congress 🌎 in Vancouver Canada this year 🇨🇦.
The session topic was one my favorite topics on Thyroid eye disease, and was very lucky to include experts and mentors in the domain.
I was also so excited to share our latest research findings in 2 posters that were presented during the congress including our own graduates that make us so proud. 🎓
