Better nutrition begins with awareness.

On the occasion of World Nutrition Day, the Dietary Department at Bellevue Medical Center organized an interactive awareness stand offering visitors and patients the opportunity to explore common nutrition myths, learned about hidden sugars in everyday foods, and learn practical way to support their health.

Participants also received healthy recipes and nutritious snacks encouraging simple steps toward better eating habits.

Informed choices today can lead to a healthier tomorrow.

التغذية السليمة تبدأ بالوعي.

بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للتغذية، نظّم قسم التغذية في مستشفى ومركز بلفو الطبي جناحًا توعويًا تفاعليًا أتاح للزوار والمرضى فرصة التعرّف على أبرز المفاهيم الغذائية الخاطئة، واكتشاف كميات السكر الخفية في الأطعمة اليومية، والتعرّف على طرق بسيطة تساعدهم على تعزيز صحتهم.

كما حصل المشاركون على وصفات صحية ، ووجبات خفيفة مغذية، تشجّع على إتباع خطوات غذائية صحية ومستدامة نحو نمط غذائي أفضل.

For World No To***co Day, Bellevue Medical Center held an awareness session at Sainte Famille Fanar for approximately 160 Grade 8 students, focusing on health risks associated with smoking, va**ng, and IQOS. Presented by Dr. Céline Baaklini, Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialist, the session aimed to empower students with reliable medical knowledge and promote healthier lifestyle choices from a young age.

بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للامتناع عن التدخين، نظّم مستشفى ومركز بلفو الطبي جلسة توعوية في مدرسة Sainte Famille - الفنار لحوالي 160 طالبًا من الصف الثامن، سلطت الضوء على المخاطر الصحية المرتيطة بالتدخين، وإستخدام ا السجائر الإلكترونية، وأجهزة IQOS. قدّمت الجلسة الدكتورة سيلين بعقليني، اختصاصية أمراض الرئة والعناية المركزة، بهدف تزويد الطلاب بمعلومات طبية موثوقة وتشجيعهم على اتخاذ خيارات صحية أفضل منذ سن مبكرة.

Protect your skin today for a healthier tomorrow.
As part of Skin Cancer Awareness Month, the Dermatology Team at Bellevue Medical Center organized an awareness activity for patients and visitors highlighting the importance of sun protection, proper sunscreen application,, and skin cancer prevention.

Patients and visitors also received the ABCDE guide to help identify warning signs of skin cancer, along with a sunscreen pouch as a reminder to keep sun protection part of their daily routine.
