Before anyone misunderstands the reel 😅
Ice plunges DO have benefits.
Short term:
Increased alertness, energy, mood boost, and a feeling of refreshment for many people.
Long term:
They may help with stress tolerance, resilience, discipline, and adapting to discomfort but usually with consistency over time.
The point of the reel is NOT that ice plunges are useless.
The point is that any habit needs to be sustainable to produce meaningful long-term benefits.
If you enjoy it and do it consistently? Amazing.
But if it takes too much effort, time, money, and setup for you to stick to it… there may be other habits that give you a better return on investment long term.
