It was formed in January 2012 by Optometrist Tharindu Fernando who has been conducting Optometry study programs since 2007. we are so grateful to all who sponsored towards this noble project. We have received sponsorships for 143 pairs of spectacles and donated 23 pairs up to date. We carefully select the most needed to donate the spectacles. If you know of anyone who needs spectacles and is finding difficult to afford them due to the current financial situation of him/her please refer to one off our "Aloka" service centers below.
