Last Saturday morning, I received a call from an Indian number 🇮🇳. At first, I didn’t call back—after all, it was a foreign number. But the call came again around 1 pm. The voice on the other end simply asked in English:
“How much do you charge for a hair patch service?”
I replied, “Sri Lankan Rupees 3,000.” Then the call disconnected.
The very next day, the same number called again:
“Can I come now?”
Even though I had an appointment at that moment, I arranged a slot at 5 pm. And just like that, our story began.
