The College would endeavour to be a dedicated, dependable and responsible resource, to the government and other stakeholders, on all aspects related to the optimal care of infants, children and adolescents. The Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians held the Art Creation 2026 awards ceremony on 16 August 2026, at the UCFM Tower. Commemorating World Obesity Day, the programme inspired children to embrace healthy eating, active living and creative expression.

The Art Creation programme saw a wonderful response, with more than 500 entries received from Children in Pre-School to Grade 11. From these submissions, 76 exceptional artworks earned special recognition.

Thank you to all the brilliant young artists, supportive parents and dedicated teachers who made this programme meaningful. Together, let's keep inspiring healthier, happier and more creative futures!
