🐶 ඔබේ සුරතල් බල්ලා අනතුරේද?

Pyometra ගැන දැනුවත් වෙන්න! 🚨

Pyometra යනු,

ගැබ් ගැනීමට නොහැකි වූ ගැහැණු බල්ලන්ගේ හෝ පැටව් හම්බෙන්නෙ නැතින්වෙන්න බෙහෙත් විදපු බල්ලන්ගෙ ගර්භාෂය තුළ සැරව (Pus) එකතු වීමෙන් ඇතිවන, ජීවිතයට තර්ජනයක් විය හැකි බරපතල ආසාදනයකි. මෙය හදිසි වෛද්‍ය තත්ත්වයකි!

🚨 රෝග ලක්ෂණ (Symptoms):

බොහෝ විට රෝග ලක්ෂණ දැකිය හැක්කේ බල්ලාගේ "සීසන් වීම" (Heat cycle) අවසන් වී සති කිහිපයකට පසුවය.

යෝනි මාර්ගයෙන් ශ්‍රාවයක් පිටවීම (Discharge):

සැරව හෝ ලේ මිශ්‍ර ශ්‍රාවයක් දැකිය හැක. (සමහර විට ගැබ් ගෙල වැසී ඇත්නම් මෙය නොපෙනී යයි).

අලස බව සහ දුර්වලතාව (Lethargy & Weakness).

කෑම අරුචිය (Loss of Appetite) සහ වමනය (Vomiting).

සාමාන්‍ය ප්‍රමාණයට වඩා ජලය පානය කිරීම (Increased Thirst) සහ මුත්‍රා කිරීම (Increased Urination).

උදරය ඉදිමීම (Swollen Abdomen) හෝ වේදනාව.

🏥 කළ යුත්තේ කුමක්ද? (Treatment):

මෙය වහාම පශු වෛද්‍යවරයකු හමුවිය යුතු හදිසි තත්ත්වයකි.

Pyometra සඳහා වඩාත් ඵලදායී හා සුරක්ෂිත ප්‍රතිකාරය වන්නේ ගර්භාෂය සහ ඩිම්බ කෝෂ ඉවත් කිරීමේ හදිසි සැත්කම (Emergency Spay / Ovariohysterectomy) යි.

💡 වැළැක්වීම (Prevention):

මෙම මාරාන්තික රෝගයෙන් ඔබේ සුරතලා බේරා ගැනීමට ඇති එකම ස්ථිරම ක්‍රමය නම් කාලෝචිතව සැත්කමකින් විෂබීජහරණය කිරීම (Spay/Neutering) යි.

කාලය ඉතා වැදගත්!

ඉහත රෝග ලක්ෂණ කිසිවක් ඔබ දුටුවහොත්, වහාම ඔබේ පශු වෛද්‍යවරයා අමතන්න

🐶 Is Your Female Dog in Danger?

Pyometra is a serious, potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus in unspayed female dogs, where the uterus fills with pus. It is a medical emergency!

🚨 Key Symptoms to Watch For:

Symptoms often appear a few weeks after the dog has finished her "heat cycle" (Estrus).

Vaginal Discharge:

May be pus-like, creamy, or bloody. (Note: The cervix can sometimes be closed, meaning no discharge is visible, which is more dangerous).

Lethargy and Weakness.

Poor Appetite and Vomiting.

Excessive Thirst (Polydipsia) and Frequent Urination (Polyuria).

Swollen or Painful Abdomen.

🏥 What Should You Do? (Treatment):

Pyometra is an urgent condition that requires immediate veterinary attention.

The most effective and safest treatment for Pyometra is emergency surgery to remove the infected uterus and ovaries (Spay/Ovariohysterectomy).

💡 Prevention is Key:

The only guaranteed way to prevent your dog from developing this deadly disease is through timely desexing (Spaying/Neutering).
