❌ “Sinus headache = normal headache”
✅ Often due to untreated sinus disease

Why FESS is important in relieving sinus-related headache

Many patients suffer for months or years with pressure-like headaches around the eyes, forehead, or cheeks, assuming it’s migraine or stress. In reality, these headaches are often caused by blocked sinus drainage pathways, leading to trapped mucus, chronic inflammation, and pressure build-up.

Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) directly addresses the root cause.

How FESS helps:

✔️ Opens blocked natural sinus openings

✔️ Restores normal ventilation and drainage

✔️ Reduces chronic inflammation and infection

✔️ Relieves pressure on surrounding nerves

✔️ Decreases dependency on repeated antibiotics and painkillers

Unlike pain medication, which only masks symptoms, FESS treats the underlying sinus pathology, providing long-term relief for patients with chronic or recurrent sinus headaches.
