Today we joined the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development in commemorating Assistive Technology Day and we were part of the panel discussion.

Assistive technology has the power to transform lives by promoting independence, inclusion, education, employment and participation in society. However, many people still face barriers in accessing the devices and services they need.

The message of the day was clear: if government, development partners, the private sector, organizations, manufacturers, and communities work together, we can make assistive devices more affordable, accessible and available to everyone who needs them.
