Think veggie burgers are boring? This one is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seriously tastes better than takeout 🤤
Ingredients:
• 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
• Breadcrumbs
• Salt & pepper
• Favorite seasonings
• 1 carrot
• Red onion
• Flour
• Olive oil
• Burger buns
• Lettuce, tomato, red onion & sauce of choice
How to make it:
Rinse and dry the chickpeas.
Blend chickpeas with breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and seasonings until chunky.
Blend carrot and red onion until finely minced.
Mix everything together and add a little flour until easy to shape.
Form burger patties.
Pan-fry in olive oil until golden and crispy on both sides.
Toast your buns and assemble with sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and the crispy patty.
