Have you met my Assistant for the Journey to Peace Retreat, Temahka?
She’s an artist, singer, former professional model and wellness practitioner who has assisted me at two previous retreats, and she also led a drum circle at our last Retreat in Charleston, SC.
I am so excited to have her beside me in Morocco. She is an absolutely wonderful person whose inner beauty, creativity and ability to facilitate meaningful experiences are a true gift, and our ladies are in for a treat!
Now, about this picture. Talk about a full circle moment! Her first international campaign as a model was with Revlon’s Crème of Nature for a hair product featuring Argan oil from Morocco. This October, she joins me in Morocco, where she will present her wellness program, The Remedy, for the first time on African soil.

“It is a sacred rite of passage to prepare for the reality that my first time touching the soil of Africa will be for the beauty and remedy that Most High has placed inside of me, years after the accomplishments gained from the beauty Most High has blessed me with on the outside.”
From a beauty campaign connected to Morocco to bringing The Remedy to Morocco. Now THAT is full circle.
