Moldova now has its first dental prosthetics factory.

✦ Teeth Factory No. 1 is the first project launched under a new development concept by Oral Spares, after years of operating as a dental laboratory. It is the first expansion of our activity into a format built specifically for producing dental prosthetics on a larger scale.

If there are factories producing implants, instruments and almost every other product used in dentistry, why should dental prosthetics still be made exclusively through an artisanal approach?

That is where Teeth Factory No. 1 began: to make high-quality dental prosthetics accessible to a larger number of patients, without compromising consistency in the final result ⭐️

This means standardized processes, step-by-step protocols, highly specialized personnel and state-of-the-art technology. The factory was also designed around its people, with working conditions built to the highest standards.

If footwear were still produced exclusively by hand today, as it once was, many more people would probably be walking barefoot. Manufacturing made it possible for a quality product to reach millions of people.

We are now applying the same principle to dental prosthetics.

🗓️ On October 3rd, we officially open Teeth Factory No. 1.

We are delighted to have leading specialists and our long-standing collaborators with us – people with whom we share knowledge and continue to develop modern dental prosthetics. During the event, we will also open the doors to the work behind Teeth Factory: sharing more about what we do, how we work and where we are taking the project, alongside the experiences, techniques and perspectives of our guests.

De obicei, primim comenzi noi. Acum l-am primit și pe Catalin Maruta 🫡

Ne-am propus să-i arătăm laboratorul și tehnologiile, dar a fost clar că l-a interesat mai mult colectivul 🤷 Într-o oră, a aflat cine este căsătorit, cine este gamer și cine e greu de scos din zona de lucru, chiar și cu vizite.

Something that is not discussed enough in the public space is the difference between the declared quality of CBCT data and the actual (de facto) quality of that data.

In guided dental surgery, especially when using bone-supported surgical guides, the accuracy of guide positioning depends directly on the quality of the bone surface generated during CBCT segmentation.

Based on our experience with more than 1,000 guided surgery cases, around 25% of CBCT scans are not suitable for high-precision planning.

One of the most common causes is patient movement during the scan, which creates artifacts and compromises the fidelity of the data.

Today we are extremely excited to announce that we have developed an AI-based model that instantly detects corrupted or unreliable CBCT data.
