🎉 Congratulations to Malta’s Newly Graduated Doctors! 🩺🎓

Today, you join a profession built on service, dedication, and compassion. Your graduation is the result of years of determination, resilience, and hard work—and a testament to everything you have overcome to reach this moment.

As you begin your Foundation Programme, embrace every opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference. The Medical Association of Malta is proud to welcome you to the profession and remains committed to supporting you throughout your career.

To those who were not successful this time round, we encourage you not to lose heart. One examination result does not define your abilities, your potential, or the doctor you will become. Many excellent doctors have faced setbacks along the way. Take the time to regroup, learn from the experience, and return stronger for the next opportunity.

To all our new and future colleagues, congratulations on how far you have come, and best wishes for the journey ahead. Medicine needs dedicated individuals like you, and we look forward to welcoming you into the profession.

We’d like to introduce you to Mental Health of Medics with whom MAM is collaborating in the interest of doctors’ mental health.

Mental Health of Medics (MHOM) has developed from an online community to a registered voluntary organisation aiming to improve the mental health of doctors and medical students in Malta through advocacy, support and community. We plan to develop a dedicated private, confidential specialist service for this group, but in the interim, are able to provide a directory of available mental health services upon request. Responding to doctors’ mental health needs also involves understanding our challenges – MHOM is keen to pursue research into doctors’ wellbeing.
