Two stage hair restoration in a 55 year old patient.

A total of 6,500 grafts were transplanted across two procedures performed one year apart:

• First surgery: 4,000 grafts
• Second surgery: 2,500 grafts
• Punch size: 0.7 mm
• All grafts extracted exclusively from the scalp donor area
• Maintenance treatment: oral finasteride and topical minoxidil

These photographs were taken only six months after the second procedure, meaning further growth, maturation and improvement in hair calibre are still expected over the coming months.

Careful donor management and a staged surgical plan allowed us to achieve extensive coverage while preserving the donor area.
