An online hub for the Maltese community where they can access the much-needed resources to manage their allergies safely and easily, as well as to keep on raising awareness and overcoming obstacles together. My life turned upside down when we first discovered Alec’s allergy, around 3 years ago. This came as a big shock as no one in the family is allergic whilst Alec himself used to eat nut-based products before without any problems. To cut a long story short, nut (not only) allergy awareness on our islands is minimal. But, unfortunately, still very lacking. It is hard to come by any basic products such as life-saving medicine carry cases. My idea is to create an online hub for the Maltese community where they can access the much-needed resources to manage their allergies safely and easily, as well as to keep on raising awareness and overcoming obstacles together. People who suffer from allergies deserve to live life to the fullest too!
