Job Description

The Junior Claims Handler is responsible to undertake a range of functions to ensure the smooth running of the Life Insurance department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Processing insurance transactions whilst providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders
- Assisting in preparation of reports, statements, maturities, valuations and claims
- Reviewing all documentation, identifying missing documents and inputting applications
- Processing disability claims, surrenders, maturities and valuation statements
- Assisting in the preparation of death claims
- Assisting and processing endorsement requests and issuing/preparing the respective revised schedule
- Handling clients’ and brokers’ queries
- Updating and maintaining databases
- Other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, which may be assigned from time to time.

Skills and Experience

- Previous experience in claims handling
- Good communication skills
- Strong team player
- Highly organised
- Proficient in IT

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Process new applications including data input
- Assist in the preparation of reports, statements, maturities, valuations and claims
- Review all documentation, identify missing documents and issue Policy Documents
- Assist in the preparation of claims, surrenders, maturities and valuation statements
- Handling clients’ and brokers’ queries
- Updating and maintaining databases
- Filing duties

Other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, which may be assigned from time to time.
