As an OT clinic, we’re always thinking about the environments our children grow up in and how these shape their development, wellbeing, and everyday functioning.
This Saturday, we highly recommend attending one of the talks hosted by Smartphone Free Childhood Gozo. It’s an important conversation around something we’re seeing more and more in our practice: the impact of early and excessive smartphone use on children’s attention, emotional regulation, social skills, and overall development.
We truly believe in this movement. Supporting children to engage more in real-world play, face-to-face interaction, and meaningful experiences is not just beneficial ,it’s essential.
