I’m going to share something a little personal today… Yesterday was a tough day for me as a small business owner. A few appointments were cancelled or changed at short notice. I completely understand that life happens and sometimes plans have to change. What many people don’t realise, however, is that when a treatment room is booked, that time has been reserved especially for them.
Aromantra isn’t a large company. It’s just me. It represents hours spent preparing, planning, learning, investing, and doing my absolute best to provide an experience that every client enjoys… I always try to be accommodating because I genuinely care about you all. But sometimes, being highly understanding can make people forget that this business is also how I provide for my family. Every single appointment in my diary represents time I’ve set aside for someone. It’s time that usually cannot be filled when it’s cancelled at the last minute!
This post isn’t about making anyone feel guilty… It’s simply a gentle reminder that behind every small business is a real person doing their very best.
