فَوَاللَّهِ مَا كُنَّا نَحْتَاجُ فِي اللَّيَالِي الظَّلْمَاءِ إِلَى مِصْبَاحٍ
وَكَانَ يَفُوحُ مِنْهُ رِيحُ الْمِسْكِ
وَيَسْتَيْقِظُ مِنَ النَّوْمِ وَعَيْنَاهُ كَحِيلَتَانِ
وَشَعْرُهُ مَدْهُونٌ
وَكَأَنَّمَا غُسِلَ بِالْمَاءِ وَالطِّيبِ
