Nurses’ Experiences of Patient Safety Incident Reporting at Ungoofaaru Regional Hospital: A Qualitative Study

The research is led by Leena Mohamed, Nursing Director at Ungoofaaru Regional Hospital, in collaboration with Khadeeja Shakir, Mariyam Hudha, and Fathimath Khumaira from the School of Nursing, The Maldives National University (MNU).

The research is being presented at the SAARC-AA Congress 2026, the 15th International Congress of Anaesthesiologists of SAARC Countries, hosted by the Maldives Anaesthesiologists Association (MAA) on the beautiful island of Ukulhas,

We are proud to see this collaboration between clinical nursing leadership and nursing academia, contributing Maldivian evidence to the wider regional conversation on patient safety.

Dental Department OPD Service Update

We are pleased to announce that the Dental Department has successfully relocated to its newly developed facility. In line with this move, the department will now offer two Morning Dental OPD and one Evening OPD to better serve our patients and visitors.
