I am very pleased to share our NEW Paper in The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health, detailing a comprehensive epi & lab investigation into the causes of acute pediatric hepatitis of unknown origin across the UK.

This massive multidisciplinary endeavor for detection, notification, and response was both swift and rigorous, as we previously reported and published within less than two weeks of detection:

From the outset to the conclusion, the research closely guided the response. This synergy between academia and public health in the UK was instrumental, and should be a model worldwide.
