The retreat will provide an opportunity to:

The Discovery Research Support Hub (DRSH) celebrates Dr Thomasena O’Byrne, Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Malawi-Liverpool-Wellcome Research Programme (MLW), who has been awarded the DRSH Fellowship Catalyst Award.

Through this award, Dr O’Byrne will receive protected research time, mentorship, training, and tailored career-development support to strengthen her pathway towards research independence and a competitive early-career fellowship.

Her research focuses on understanding how people, health systems, and evidence interact and how these relationships shape the success or failure of interventions aimed at improving health.
