On 22 April 2026, St. John’s Hospital hosted an official handover ceremony for medical equipment and supplies valued at K2.8 billion. The donation, from The Patriots charitable organization, is aimed at expanding clinical capacity.

We were privileged to host His Lordship the Bishop of Mzuzu Diocese, Right Reverend Yohane Suzgo Nyirenda; the Mayor of Mzuzu City, Mr. Chiyembekezo Moses; and the Mzimba North Director of Health and Social Services (DHSS), Dr. Wamaka Musopole, whose presence underscored the importance of faith, government, and healthcare partnerships.
